我不知道“我”是谁,真的不知道,但是“我”知道什么不是我。
I don’t know who I am. I truly don’t know. But I know what I am NOT.
我不是这具身体,我不是头脑意识,我不是身体形象,也不是我的名字;“我”不是心愿的意识记忆,也不是心灵情感的体验;我不是情绪的细腻经验,也不是人格认知的概念。
I am not the body. I am not the mind. I am not the form. I am not the name. I am not the memories of mind. Nor am I the feelings and sensations. I am not the subtle experience of emotions. Nor am I the cognitive thoughts of personality.
我不是思虑认知深处的细念,我也不是习气经验的体验;我不是细念间隙中的清澈,我也不是伴随习气相续的见性;我不是见性的明了,也不是见性蕴含的“地水火风见识空”七大种性;我不是地水火风七大种性,我也不是见性中细念呈现的分别刹那;我不是能见与所见,我也不是由知觉梦境中,回忆呈现出“见与所见”细分的追溯。
I am not the subtle thoughts deep in the mental mind. Nor am I the habitual patterns from my experiences and sensations. I am not the clarity in between subtle thoughts. Nor am I the essence of mind behind perpetuating patterns of thoughts. I am not the clarity of the essence of mind. Nor am I the seven elements (earth, water, fire, wind, perception, mind, space) arisen from the essence of consciousness. I am not the nature of seven elements. Nor am I the instant distinctions perceived by seeing; I am not the seeing and the seen. Nor am I the fine memories of the seeing and the seen presented in the sensory dreams.
我不是知觉在灵性梦境中的回忆,我也不是灵性的完整光明;我不被灵性光明所存在,也未曾被无限的生命所禁锢;我不是觉照十方的智慧,也不是庄严法界的清净报身;我不是诸佛的平等慈悲,也不是遍及十方三世,容纳过去未来,以无生庄严法界的智慧,这一切都不是“我”。
I am not the self-remembrance in the dream of spirituality. Nor am I the full brightness of spirituality. I am not conditioned by the brightness of spirituality. Nor am I been confined by the infinity of life; I am not the wisdom luminating the ten directions. Nor am I the Body of Bliss (Sambhogakaya) dignifying the Dharma-realm. I am not the non-dual compassion of Buddhas. Nor am I the unperturbed luminating wisdom pervading across the ten directions of the past, present, and the future, accommodating past and future. None of these is me.
“我”从来没有被智慧所完整展现过,我也从来没有被慈悲所如意呈现出来;是慈悲呈现出我的“生命”,智慧呈现出我的“身体”,但是我既非智慧报身,生命也无法究竟表现“我”;我渗透在一切生命的过去未来当中,我渗透在过去未来一切生命当中,却是生命所不能描述,却是境界所不能触及,却是言语道断,却是不可说。
I have never been fully presented by wisdom. Nor have I been genuinely presented by compassion. Compassion manifests the aspect of my life. Wisdom dictates the aspect of my body. But, I am neither the bliss body of wisdom nor the essence of life. I pervade the past and future of every life. I pervade all lives in the past and future. However, no life can describe me and no fantasy can reach me. I am inexpressible by any words.
我是众生身心灵,习气幻灭的当下;我是众生苏醒身心灵,觉醒当下的超然。众生从来没有离开过我,我也从未离开任何一个众生;众生见到“凡所有相,皆是虚妄”“见诸相非相”,那么他的“见”,就是我。我就在他“见诸相非相”的刹那间,呈现出十法界,清净本体,无生庄严。
I am the Now when body, mind, spirit, and habitual patterns of sentient beings vanish. I am the detachment when sentient beings awaken in the Now from their bodies, minds, and spirits. Sentient beings have never been away from me, and I have never forsaken any sentient beings. When sentient beings realize that “all forms are illusionary” and that “all forms are essentially formless”, such seeing points to me. In that instant enlightenment of “all forms are essentially formless”, I am present through the pure essence and the unborn nature of the ten dharma realms.
一切都在我之内,我在一切之中,我在川流刹那的之间,是脱落了永恒的自在,而永恒却包含了过去未来,对于“我”而言,永恒那只是刹那错觉;时间与空间,在“我”内从来没有产生过;或者说,一切时间与空间,相续刹那的当下,就是究竟涅槃的“我”之圆满。这就是“烦恼即菩提”,就是轮回与涅槃无二,就是如来究竟义,也称为第一义如来法身。
Everything is within me, and I am within everything. In between continuous moments, I am the absolute freedom beyond the eternity, while eternity encompassing the past and future. Eternity is only illusion in the instant. Time and space have never occurred to me. In other words, the Now of instant distinctions within time and space, is the perfection of my ultimate Dharma. This is “Affliction is but Bodhi”; this is “Samsara and nirvana are ultimate one”. This is the ultimate truth of Tathagata, also known as the Dharma Body of the First Principle Tathagata.
我知道什么不是“我”,但是我确实“不知道”什么是我。或者说,一切生灭的性质,那本身就是我永远不会熄灭的智慧;或者说,一切众生生死缘起的轮回,在轮回生灭的刹那间,无生无灭的体性,那就是我从来没有离开众生的慈悲。
I know what is not me, but I truly don’t know what is me. Or, the true nature of all the arising and ceasing is my ever-luminating wisdom. Or, the true nature of no birth no death in every instant moment of cycles of samsara where sentient beings come and go, is my compassion never leaving behind all sentient beings.
我,确实不知道我叫什么名字,但是,自从有时间和空间以来,一切世界当中,任何一个觉醒智慧的尊者,那都是同一个智慧呈现出来,慈悲心在那一个世界当中的绽放。一切觉者,共用一个清净法身。那个清净法身,可能就指的是我吧。
I, truly don’t know my name. However, ever since the occurrence of time and space, ever present in every realm, any enlightened holy saint is the manifestation of my wisdom and the blooming of my compassion in that realm. All enlightened beings share one pure Dharma Body. That pure dharma body might refer to me.
